About

Hi! I'm Suzy, also known as DrChopSuey. I'm a knitter, rock climber and librarian. The knitting and librarianating don't wreck my hands and nails. The rock climbing however....

A while back I posted this picture on my social media sites:

This was taken after rock climbing, which I did a day after I had a rather pricey manicure done. Let's just say I was a little upset about the wasted money and time! And because I LOVE rock climbing, I figured I would just have gnarly climber hands for the rest of my life.

In comes my friend Nikki. She is a Jamberry Independent Consultant and asked me to try Jamberry nail wraps. Here's my collage following 2 weeks of wear:

After that I was sold. I LOVE this product and this company. So much so that I decided to become a Jamberry Independent Consultant! This way I can keep climbing and rocking (see what I did there?!) beautiful nails, but also bring this awesome product to you!

Also this part-time position is providing me with an opportunity to do something I've wanted to do for a while. A portion of the profits I earn from being a Jamberry Independent Consultant will be donated to the NIH Children's Inn, a private, non-profit residence for children and families participating in pediatric research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Children and their families seek treatment at NIH, often as their last, best hope for a healthy future through the promise of clinical research. These young patients are facing medical challenges that range from cancer and blood disorders to metabolic conditions and illnesses that lack successful therapies and are often researched and treated only at NIH. The Inn's partnership with NIH makes it possible for these critically ill children to receive much-needed treatment while also helping to advance scientific and medical discoveries.

With your Jamberry purchases through my Jamberry Independent Consultant site, you are not only supporting me, you are helping all the children and families with comfort and care during their difficult medical treatments. Thank you for your support in my business and in my mission in helping biomedical research and most of all, these children.
